A tropical Disturbance continues to linger along the northern portions of the Mariana islands today. A special weather statement has been issued for foul weather here by the Guam NWS. But this is just the first impacts from what is expected to become Man-yi sometime on Thursday or Friday Morning. At this time the disturbance remains a very deep monsoonal depression type of a storm. Where exactly where it will be going is still uncertain but if I had to bet I would say a landfalling storm in Western Japan From Kyushu north to the Kii Pen. would be probable. Enhanced monsoonal flow will also bring heavy showers across the Philippines and the risk of flooding and landslides for southern Luzon and Visayas.
